Once there was a great city, ruled by mysterious creatures, not human and not fish, but something between it. Then the war started, and many died. The city was empty for 300 years.
After the crystal fields started to grow again, the dancing demons came and took over the city. Everything changed... almost everything. The Waeel still join the warm waters there each and every year to lay their eggs.
And where do you think you're going, little squid? _________________________
Yay for me for submitting a real deviation again <3 Started as a random doodle at school, ended up all being pic + background and effects (I suck at bubbles, lol)
I kinda like how the city came out, I think I'll keep the design.
Waeel = creature I created, it's a play with words but it's not working in english. German name would be "Waal", because whale means Wal in german, and eel means Aal, so Wal + Aal = Waal...
Caecuraptors are called the "dancing demons", because they look very playful and harmless all the time, swimming in circles and playing games with each other, but they are very dangerous tho...
well, since the waals are those things in the background and you can't see them you'd have to wait for the ref xD I think you mean the Caecuraptors, right?

"Who are you??" "Oh, I'm glad you're asking! I'm your worst nightmare!" - Mr. Teatime
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

It is better to forget to forgive and forget, than to forgive and always remember.
